Gerard Byrne

Gerard Byrne is a qualified and experienced psychotherapist and addiction counsellor along with being a certified sports psychologist.

Ger is accredited with Addiction Counsellors of Ireland (A.C.I). He studied at PCI College and is 20+ years in practice. He has worked in a number of addiction centers and has worked in private practice in Blue Lotus Counselling center since 2004. Gerard deals with many issues including bereavement, child sexual abuse, couples/relationships counselling, numerous addictions (active and recovery), suicide ideation, teenage issues, mental health, anxiety, panic attacks, stress, self esteem/confidence, depression and sports related issues

Siobhan Whitney

(M.I.A.H.I.P., Dip. Supervision)

Siobhan graduated from the Institute of Creative Counselling and Psychotherapy in Dun Laoghaire in 2000. She worked full time as a Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapist since then has gained much experience working with young adults, couples, individuals and groups. Siobhan has also worked as part of the Training Team of the Institute of Creative Counselling and Psychotherapy for five years as a group facilitator.

As an integrative psychotherapist, Siobhan takes all aspects of the person into consideration. That means that the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of the person are all part of the work. She works in a creative way with people; meaning that she include dreams, images and art whenever appropriate. Siobhan see's her work as counsellor and psychotherapist providing a safe and non judgemental environment where people can come and discuss their difficulties.

Siobhan is open to short-term counselling as a way of supporting people or long-term psychotherapy as a way of exploring deep and unresolved issues. She see's her work as part of a healthy approach to living and a way of giving some time and attention to personal growth. In 2017 Siobhan also qualified as a clinical supervisor and is currently developing this area of her practice. She is available for individual counselling as well as both individual & group supervision.

Elizabeth Kerrigan

Elizabeth is a qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist holding a BSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Middlesex University and a Dip in Counselling and Psychotherapy from PCI College. She is also an accredited member of IACP.

Elizabeth works with many individuals and couples who are facing difficulty in their lives and relationships. She describes herself as grounded in Person Centred therapy and she also has integrated ideas and practices from Reality Therapy, CBT and Brief Therapy. This integrated approach has enabled Elizabeth to work with her clients when their thoughts and behaviours have impacted negatively in their lives.

She has worked with several counselling agencies over the past number of years working with a varied and diverse range of clients. Elizabeth has worked in the private and voluntary sector for over 10 years giving her a vast range of experience and perspective. Una Fenlon

Una is a fully qualified and experienced counsellor and psychotherapist. She works on a one to one basis with adults offering them a safe, non judgemental space where she helps them explore the difficulties they are having in their personal life.

Una uses a variety of therapeutic approaches to help them with this exploration. She is passionate about endeavoring to help, empower her clients to move towards, enhancing the quality of their lives. Una holds a BSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy, Dip in Life Coaching, Cert in Art therapy, Mentoring, Bereavement and Psychosynthesis. She is an accredited member of the I.A.C.P. and is fully committed to her continuing professional development. Una has had a part-time private practice for a long number of years in Celbridge while also working part-time as a counselling psychotherapist for the HSE.

Deirdre Mcgil

As a therapist Deirdre adopts a client centred humanistic approach to counselling. She is a dedicated and empathetic person, working with adults on a one to one basis and with couples. Deirdre creates a safe environment and high level of understanding for clients to work at their own pace. She helps clients integrate coping skills into their life and deal with current difficulties. Focusing especially on assertiveness, communication in relationships, grounding exercises for anxiety, building up self-worth, self-confidence and self-esteem. Working with the impact of emotional, sexual and physical abuse.

Caroline Blagburn

(M.I.A.c.p., Dip. Supervision.)

Caroline is a qualified Counsellor Psychotherapist and Supervisor working with individuals and couples. She first began her training with Maynooth University in 1997 and continued her professional training with the Tivoli Institute in Dun Laoghaire graduating in 2003 and has a Post Qualification Diploma in Gestalt Psychotherapy and Supervision.

Caroline’s work is based on an integrative and humanistic approach and though grounded in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Person-Centred and Gestalt Therapy she draws upon different therapeutic models according to individual needs and works with a broad range of issues including Anxiety, Depression, Loss, Abuse (emotionally physically and sexually) and Relationship Issues.

Caroline has previously worked with the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre, Newlands Institute for Counselling and is also in private practice with Liberty Counselling Service, her commitment in this work is to facilitate and support her clients towards self-empowerment and / or healing valuing each person as a unique individual and believes that Counselling can be an enriching and rewarding experience.

Colette Kehir

Colette is a highly qualified, accredited and experienced psychotherapist and relationship counsellor. She is accredited with both the IACP and NAPCP.  Colette studied at NUI Maynooth and is over 5 years in practice.  She has trained and worked in Accord Dublin Marriage & Relationship Counselling since 2014 where she is center chairperson and still volunteer’s hours in the Blanchardstown center. 

Colette works with many issues including anxiety, stress, panic attacks, self-esteem/confidence, depression, bereavement and specializes in couples/relationships counselling. Celine Moran

Celine is an experienced and accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist. She has many years’ experience working with a broad range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, loss, and relationship difficulties.

Celine holds a Diploma in Counselling, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Counselling & Psychotherapy from the IICP and a Post Graduate Diploma in Children and Loss from the Royal College of Surgeons.   She has also undertaken further training in Trauma and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). As a fully accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP), Celine practices in accordance with their code of ethics. She uses a variety of approaches in working with clients including person-centered and cognitive behavioural therapy. 

Celine also works as a parenting specialist, has extensive experience working in a supportive capacity with parents and is a qualified Circle of Security Parenting Coach / Facilitator. She also has a special interest in working with eating disorders and body image issues having completed training in enhanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for eating disorders (CBT-E).

oRLA pATEL

Orla Cadden Patel is a fully accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). She is qualified with a honours B.Sc. Degree and Dip. in Counselling &Psychotherapy from Middlesex University through PCI College. Orla also holds a Certificate in Counselling Skills from Maynooth University and an Certificate in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASSIST)

Orla predominantly works mainly from a Humanistic Integrative approach with individuals over 18 years of age. She works collaboratively and empathically with clients to help them increase their self-awareness in order to find their own answers. If/when needed, Orla uses a variety of tools and techniques from other different approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, Mindfulness, and Psycho-Education, with her approach being tailored to each client’s specific needs.

Judith Mcgowan

Judith McGowan is a fully qualified Psychotherapist and Counsellor, and an accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).

Following an auspicious career in pharmaceutical science, Judith’s journey into the field of Psychotherapy began with a diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy, which was quickly followed by a BSc. Degree (Middlesex University) in 2016. Post-qualification, Judith has also completed a Certificate in the Therapeutic Use of Mindfulness.

Judith’s main style of therapy is person-centred, with a strong belief in the beneficial effect of both the client/therapist relationship and the power of non-judgemental positive regard. She integrates different types of therapy into her practice according to the needs of each individual, with the aim of enhancing the ability of the client to manage their own problems.

Louise McHale is a qualified & accredited Reflexologist and Mindfulness & Positive Psychology coach. Her background is in Pharmaceuticals with a Masters in Biomedical Science.

Louise is accredited by the Irish Reflexology Institute LTD (IRIL). She has additional training in; Antenatal Reflexology, Oncology Reflexology, Reproductive Reflexology (Association of Reproductive Reflexologist student member) encompassing fertility (natural conception, assisted conception) reproductive issues including endometriosis, PCOS, amenorrhea, perimenopause, menopause, chronic prostatitis, varicocele and more.  

Louise’s Diploma in Mindfulness and Positive Psychology is from the Irish Mindfulness Academy. She provides, 4 week group sessions for children and 6 week group sessions for teenagers and adults. The group sessions provide information as to what is happening within our brains and bodies when stressed and anxious and what we can do as individuals to cope better with our daily stressors.
